MDRS 2015 AMSRO Visit

Several officers are planning an AMSRO expedition at the Mars Desert Research Station (MDRS) during the 2014-2015 field season.

Each time-slot is two weeks in duration, but it is acceptable to only stay one week at a time (we could send an AMSRO Team A for week 1 and an AMSRO Team B for week 2). The MDRS can accommodate 6-8 people at once, so potentially there is room for 12-16 individuals.

We are planning to conduct experiments involving telemedicine, emergency care, and exercise countermeasures. We'd welcome input for other potential experiments.

Please be advised that the priority deadline to apply is July 1st, 2014. There is a three-page application that I estimate will take 1-2 hours to fill out.
