Welcome! We’re glad you’re excited to join AMSRO. Local interest groups are a great way to get more involved by connecting with other AMSRO members in your area. Affiliated AMSRO Interest Groups host events, meetings, and provide a local network of like-minded peers.
In the future, AMSRO will be working to develop materials to support Affiliated Interest Groups. Currently, a great way to start learning as an interest group together is to get together to watch the UTMB Seminar Series.
AMSRO Regional Chapters are composed of AMSRO Affiliated Interest Groups. Unaffiliated local interest groups are not listed. Check below for an AMSRO Affiliated Interest Group in your region. If you don’t find one, consider starting your own!
AMSRO Affiliated Interest Groups

ESTABLISH AN AFFILIATED INTEREST GROUP
You want to affiliate your interest group with AMSRO? Great! Make sure you’re an AMSRO member first, then:
-
Email Anushka Gupta and Mollie Scanagatta-Long (Chairs of the AMSRO Chapter Establishment and Coordinating Committee) at amsro.chapters@gmail.com expressing an interest in affiliating your interest group with AMSRO.
-
Once approved, you will receive a formal letter stating that the interest group has been affiliated and is now an AMSRO Affiliated Interest Group.
-
All done! The AMSRO Affiliated Interest Group is announced on the AMSRO Google group and posted to the website.
