Dr. Anderson is an assistant professor of aerospace engineering and an adjunct professor of integrative physiology at CU Boulder. Her work centers on aerospace biomedical engineering and how humans can survive in extreme environments, including on Mars. Dr. Anderson studied at the University of Southern California as an undergraduate and received her advanced degrees in aerospace engineering, technology policy and aerospace biomedical engineering from MIT. Dr. Allison Anderson and CU Boulder are at the forefront in designing a spacesuit to make exploration on Mars possible. With a focus on aerospace biomedical engineering and human physiology in extreme environments, Dr. Anderson and her team are developing the technologies to make a human mission to Mars reality.
