SPACE MEDICINE IRELAND'S BURSARY/SCHOLARSHIP

Space Medicine Ireland is delighted to announce a new bursary/scholarship open to any medical students with an interest in space medicine to support their first steps in the field. There are no nationality requirements.

The first €500 bursary/scholarship will be awarded at Space Medicine Ireland’s 2021 virtual conference where the winner will be invited to present their essay.

Judging will be done by Dr. David Green from the European Space Agency

It has been established to promote awareness and engagement in space medicine.

Entries should have a maximum of 1500 words (English)
Deadline of November 30th, 2021
Competition title is ‘Space tourism: the challenges for medical doctors certifying increasing numbers of space tourists for flight.’
Participants should ensure they are available to present their essay at the virtual conference December 10th, 2021 at 18.00 Irish time.
