AMSRO Officer Election Applications- DUE August 15, 2021



Hello AMSRO Members!

Interested in becoming an AMSRO officer? If so, we have great news! The Elections Ad Hoc Committee is now accepting nominations for all officer positions (see the full list below). Completed nomination forms (blank copy attached to your AMSRO e-mail), with an optional photo of the given nominee, should be submitted by NO LATER THAN 5:00 P.M. (CST) on August 15, 2021. Nomination forms submitted after the established deadline unfortunately cannot be accepted.

Interested candidates must be current members of both AsMA and AMSRO. Please make sure that all annual dues have been paid before applying.

Offices available for nomination include:

  1. President

  2. Vice President

  3. Secretary

  4. Treasurer-Membership Coordinator

  5. Parliamentarian-Historian

  6. Chief Editor

  7. Webmaster

  8. Resident in Aerospace Medicine (RAM) Representative

Each position is a year-long commitment, and no individual may serve in the same position for more than two total terms. Additionally, all candidates interested in running for AMSRO Executive Committee President must have served as a committee officer for at least one year prior to the present election. Candidates may nominate themselves for up to two positions during this election cycle, but if doing so should rank these in descending order of preference. If successfully elected to both positions, candidates will be appointed to the position they designated as their top preference.
